Pre-launch terms, disclosure and refunds

- What you are buying (Reserve the rate, CAD $15 once): a founding reservation. It locks the founder rate of CAD $15/month (public price CAD $29/month) for as long as your subscription stays active, and the CAD $15 is credited to your first month when access begins.
- What you are buying (Founder cohort, CAD $99 once, 50 seats): everything in Reserve the rate, plus your first year of Opiniyum included (12 months at the founder rate), a roadmap vote, founder-only previews and early builds, feature-request priority, and your name in the credits. After the first year the subscription continues at the locked CAD $15/month while active.
- Delivery: access opens when the founding cohort build is ready. We do not commit to a delivery date. You are notified by email the day access opens.
- Outside date: if your access has not opened by November 1, 2026, your payment is refunded in full to the original payment method without you having to ask.
- Cancellation and refunds: until your access opens, reply to your receipt email or write to [email protected] and the payment is refunded in full to the original payment method. The receipt arrives from [email protected] within a minute of payment and restates these terms. Once access opens, the payment has been applied to your subscription as described above and is not refunded.
What this is
Opiniyum is in development. Founding reservations are how we gauge demand and decide what gets built first. The demo on this site is a scripted preview of the intended product, and the final product may differ from it in features, design and timing. By reserving, you are backing a product in development on the terms on this page.
No guarantee of launch
We may decide not to launch Opiniyum, or to launch it in a different form. If that happens, every reservation is refunded in full. That refund is your only remedy; the founder rate, seats and perks apply only if and when access opens.
Refunds
Refunds are available until your access opens. Reply to your receipt email or write to [email protected] and say you want a refund. Refunds go to the original payment method within 10 business days of the request. Amounts are refunded in Canadian dollars; differences from exchange rates or bank fees are not reimbursed. After access opens, the payment has been applied to your subscription and is not refunded. We may cancel any reservation at our discretion, in which case it is refunded in full.
The founder rate
The CAD $15/month founder rate is locked for as long as your subscription remains active and in good standing. If you cancel after activation, the founder rate is not recoverable; rejoining is at the public price then in effect. The public price and the plan contents may change before and after launch; the founder rate applies to the plan as offered at launch.
Founder builder seats
There are 50 founder builder seats. Once they are taken, the Founder cohort option is no longer offered; Reserve the rate remains available and still locks the founder rate. Founder perks (roadmap vote, previews, request priority, credits) are delivered inside the product and by email, on our schedule; none require a call or meeting. Reservations and seats are personal and cannot be transferred or resold.
Your data
Email [email protected] to have your email address, your answers and your reservation record deleted. We act on it unless the law requires us to keep something. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its own policy. See the privacy page for what we collect and why.
Not medical advice
Opiniyum is a learning and lifestyle tool. It does not diagnose, prevent, or manage any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. Examples in the demo are illustrative.
Liability and law
Our total liability to you in connection with a reservation is limited to the amount you paid for it. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada, and the courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you a right that cannot be excluded. We may update these terms for future reservations; the terms in your receipt email are the ones that apply to yours.
